What are cookies?
Cookies are small files or data stored by websites in your browser. They can support core functions, remember preferences and – when you allow it – support analytics or third-party content. Websites can also use browser local storage (localStorage) for similar preference functions.
Why are they used?
Cookies and similar technologies may support website functionality, remember settings, improve the user experience and, with appropriate consent, measure usage or load third-party services.
What does the new B3 Servis website use?
The new website has no user login, shopping basket or online checkout. Technical cookies from the previous CMS and commerce setup therefore no longer describe the current website.
Essential browser storage
| Name | Type | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
b3-cookie-consent-v3 | localStorage | until cleared | Stores your privacy choices for analytics and marketing/external content. |
b3compare | localStorage | until removed or browser data is cleared | Remembers machines added to the comparison tool. |
The catalogue and enquiry forms currently require no first-party session or shopping cookies.
Optional analytics
No analytics tool is active in the current staging version. If analytics is enabled later, it will only load after consent and this inventory will be updated before activation.
Marketing and external content
The interactive Google Map is third-party content. In V18 it is not loaded until you allow marketing/external content. When loaded, Google may process technical data such as your IP address and may use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy terms.
Changing your choice
You can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings and can also manage cookies and local storage in your browser settings.
